Small businesses will find this tool particularly useful as they will be able to direct their message to the exact customers that are most likely to buy a product or use a service.  Larger businesses can benefit from using geographic targeting too, if they are trying to increase brand awareness in a certain geographic area.

Of course, geographically targeting a campaign does require extra effort from marketers, especially for those who choose to manage their own campaigns, as having more options creates a certain amount of confusion. But the return on investment increase triggered by targeting only users who are likely to buy a product or use a service is certainly worth the effort and time invested in acquiring new skills.
