Speech activated search engine to be launched next month

A new site which claims to be the world's first voice driven search engine is set to be launched next month.
According to PC Pro, users will be able to speak in their search terms and receive their results back via audio, on the site searchlimo.com.
The program works by converting speech into text and then passing the information into its database of 200,000 words.
Users can choose to have results displayed as either text or audio and are helped in their search by an interactive chauffeur who prompts them for data to narrow the search.
Built around a freeware VRU platform, the site says it works on VG-SCE platforms and can even learn from users' requests the kind of thing they look for.
Sitelimo also claims to support keyword, phrase and sentence search, site command prompts and offline search.
Planned to be launched in February, the site is already open for users to register.
